This exhibit captures a violent and coercive encounter at the Huntington Beach rental property, involving an unidentified male driver of a silver pickup truck who entered the private driveway and accelerated toward tenant Michael Gasio while demanding immediate cash payment to a private bank account. The incident occurred shortly after rent was lawfully paid to agent Hanson Le on May 30, 2024. The suspect claimed to be “the owner” and threatened violence when asked to identify himself.
The subject line (“Blood test ****** This is Anonymous ******”) and message text request that the individual operating the silver pickup undergo a drug test due to reckless behavior and endangerment. Composite photos show the silver pickup parked illegally in a red zone marked “Resident Parking Only – Violators Will Be Towed.” The vehicle’s position on the curb and lawn demonstrates reckless conduct consistent with attempted assault and intimidation.
This event constitutes an apparent attempted assault and extortion under California Penal Code §§211, 518, and 245(a)(1), as well as trespassing and elder endangerment under §368. The email serves as contemporaneous notice to law enforcement and as a request for preservation of Ring camera footage and other video evidence showing the near-collision.
